Before You Board

  • Have Your Pass Ready: Please have your ConnectKC26 Pass ready for use. For quick and easy access, add it to your smartphone’s mobile wallet.
  • Wait for Others to Exit: Allow passengers to exit the bus before you begin to board.
  • Dress Code: For your safety, pants/shorts/skirts, a shirt/top and shoes are required to ride. Please remove any hoods or masks when you board.
  • Service Animals Only: Only service animals are permitted on the bus.
  • Personal Items: Please limit your personal items to what you can carry yourself. For a full list of prohibited items, visit here .
  • You assume all risk of loss, theft or damage of personal property while using ConnectKC26 bus services.

Boarding the Bus

  • Clear the Way: Please move aside to allow others to get on and off the bus.
  • Strollers: For the safety of all passengers, all strollers must be folded and stored in the luggage bays underneath the coach during your ride.

During Your Ride

  • Find a Seat: Please take a seat when one is available and keep your feet off the seats.
  • Keep Aisles Clear: Store your personal belongings on your lap or on the floor, making sure to keep the aisles and doorways clear.
  • Child Safety: Keep your children safe by holding them securely or making sure they are seated throughout the ride.

Be Considerate of Others

  • No smoking, vaping, eating or drinking is allowed.
  • Use earphones for personal entertainment devices.
  • Please use appropriate language and a quiet “inside voice” during conversations.
  • Refrain from any disruptive behavior.
  • Respect your fellow passengers and the bus operator.

Prohibited Activities

  • Soliciting money or distributing literature is not permitted.
  • Use of alcohol.
  • Excessive noise/screaming, violence or threats of violence, or any other behavior deemed to be inappropriate.
  • Provoke, threaten, intimidate, bother, harass or abuse any other person.

Exiting the Bus

  • Move to a Safe Distance: Once you have exited the bus, please move a safe distance away to allow the bus to depart safely.
  • Have fun and be safe!
