Catch the Argentina Pep Rally on June 14
Defending FIFA World Cup™ champions Argentina recently arrived in Kansas City, and the city’s Argentine community is already celebrating. Los Hornos, a beloved Argentinian restaurant in the Northland, is hosting a pep rally on June 14, two days before the team opens its tournament against Algeria at Kansas City Stadium. Flags, music, amazing food and the kind of fan energy Argentina is known for taking around the world will be in full effect – this is where the party starts.
Attend the Algeria Street Festival on June 16
Home to Algeria’s Base Camp, the city of Lawrence, Kansas, is taking over its streets with a festival called Score Lawrence Soccer Street Party. The event features live music, food trucks, local beer and freestyle soccer performers before a watch party to cheer on the team.
Join the Oranje Fanwalk on June 25
Thousands of Dutch fans will march through downtown Kansas City toward the FIFA Fan Festival™ ahead of the Netherlands vs Tunisia match. The Oranje Fanwalk is one of the most visually striking fan traditions in world soccer with music, chants and an incredible sea of orange.
